Martha McGeehon has over a decade of experience in public education. Most recently she has been the Director of Charter School Sponsorship for Saint Louis University, a position she held since 2012. Her work at the university includes oversight of two charter schools in the City of St. Louis, City Garden Montessori Charter School and Grand Center Arts Academy. Prior to working at the university, she worked as a Progress Monitoring Coach for the Parkway School District and as the Assistant Director of Special Education Effective Practices at the MO Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
A graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, IN, she majored in sociology with a minor in education studies. Martha then attended the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis where she earned a Master of Social Work degree.
