Martha McGeehon, Interim Executive Director

Martha McGeehon is the Interim Executive Director of the Missouri Charter Public School Commission, where she leads a team providing monitoring, accountability, and strategic oversight to more than 20 charter schools across the Kansas City and St. Louis regions. With over a decade of experience in charter school oversight, she brings expertise in regulatory compliance, school performance evaluation, and operational support to ensure high-quality educational opportunities for students. With over two decades of experience in education, Martha has also held leadership and policy roles at Saint Louis University, the Parkway School District, and the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, where she contributed to initiatives spanning school operations, policy implementation, and educational program development. Martha holds a B.A. in Sociology and Education Studies from DePauw University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Washington University in St. Louis.
