Missouri Charter Public School Commission is seeking to contract with a qualified individual to serve as School Site Visit Coordinator for the 2020-2021 Academic Year. Please see the Invitation For Bid for details.
A successful contractor will coordinate the successful completion of formative reviews, based on the criteria in the Commission’s Annual School Site Visit Protocol for the following schools. This contract would be renewable for 3 years. The current yearly schedule1 of site visits is as follows:
2020-2021 School year: 7 total visits (5 in Kansas City and 2 in St. Louis)
2021-2022 School year: 9 total visits (5 in Kansas City and 4 in St. Louis)
2022-2023 School year: 8 total visits (5 in Kansas City and 3 in St. Louis)
Site Visits will be scheduled based on mutually agreed upon dates between school, MCPSC and the contractor between January 1 and April 30 of each year2. Each site visit will be approximately one day in length (could be split between two days) and should be scheduled to include observation of a regular board meeting.
The successful bidder must:
- Faithfully implement the Commission’s Annual School Site Visit Protocol.
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of two or three MCPSC approved people (including coordinator) for each visit. MCPSC will provide support in identifying potential team members.
- Coordinate with MCPSC staff prior to site visit.
- Work with the school leader or designee at each school coordinate the site visit schedule.
- Write, in collaboration with, team members the site visit report and present to MCPSC staff.
- Work with MCPSC staff to finalize site visit report after the school reviews the draft report.
The successful bidder must have demonstrated success in using school quality protocols and site visit participation.
The successful bidder must have demonstrated have strong project management and writing skills.
Preferred experience working with charter schools.
Bid should be for a minimum for six schools annually and then bid per additional school.
Bid must include travel.
