Request for Proposal: Charter School Application Evaluation Training

BACKGROUND
The Missouri Charter Public School Commission is a sole-purpose sponsor (authorizer) of quality public charter schools. The Commission serves over 12,000 children in 20-charter school LEAs in three school districts. The Commission communicates with three target audiences: sponsored schools, the State Board of Education/Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Missouri General Assembly. Additional stakeholders are parents and families, school support organizations, potential new school applicants, and the community at large.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) solicits proposals from qualified and experienced trainers who can provide new, replication and expansion school application evaluation training. The purpose of this training is to ensure evaluators effectively and consistently review MCPSC applications to Missouri statutes, MCPSC policies and national best practices.

Scope of work includes designing and delivering a comprehensive training program for our team of internal and external application reviewers. Training should include:
• Understanding of MO charter school application statutes and Commission standards
• Understanding different types of application materials and their significance
• Ensuring fair and unbiased evaluation processes
• Proving effective feedback and recommendations for improving application materials
The selected trainer(s) will be responsible for the following deliverables:
• Designing a detailed training curriculum and session plan
• Developing training materials and presentations
• Conducting training sessions for our team of application reviewers
To be considered, proposals must include:
• Company overview, including relevant experience in providing charter school application evaluation training
• Comprehensive training approach and methodology
• Proposed training curriculum, including session topics and duration
• Trainer profiles, highlighting relevant qualifications and certifications
• Detailed project timeline and schedule
• Cost estimate, including all expenses (e.g., trainer fees, materials, travel, accommodation
The submitted proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Proposed Training – 50%
• Cost – 50%
